A Day
at Longleaf

The following is a schedule of events during a normal day while visiting Longleaf Plantation. Please be reminded that this schedule is not set in stone. Every service provided to our guests at Longleaf is done so at their discretion. Our first priority is our guests’ complete satisfaction with every aspect of their stay at Longleaf. The following can be amended to better fit the wishes of our guests upon their request. The suggested schedule is as follows:

5:30 a.m.

Every morning, Longleaf Plantation’s Hunt Coordinator visits each lodge to prepare a fire in the fireplace and to brew fresh coffee for our guests rising to enjoy the day of anticipated events. There are countless places around Longleaf to peacefully watch the morning come to life. If you choose, you may also enjoy a workout in our Executive Fitness workout facility to start the day.

Our guests can choose between eggs cooked to order, omelets, pancakes, grits, oatmeal, fresh fruit, cold cereal, toast, as well as a variety of homemade jams and jellies.

If you need any additional hunting attire, you can head over to check out our apparel lines in our gift shop. The guide assigned to you will greet you and your shooting partner at the Powder House and lead you to your designated hunting course to enjoy the morning hunt.

8:00 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.

By this time of the day, most of our guests are looking for a comfortable chair in front of the fireplace to enjoy before retiring for the evening. However, should you be looking for more excitement for the evening, our billiard room may be the place for you. You may also want to work on a particular shot on the trap range that gave you trouble during the day’s hunts, or enjoy a competitive game of cards before calling it a day. Whatever you choose, you won’t find a more perfect setting to enjoy what will surely be a memorable day!
